Crystal knew she wanted to be in marketing when she started crushing on Billy from the 90’s hit show Melrose Place. He worked at an advertising agency and everything about the creative world of marketing was intriguing to Crystal.
The marketing plans and strategies that Crystal develops tend to lean toward non-traditional approaches to marketing and have a heavy emphasis on long-term brand building. Her focus on non-traditional methods made her fall in love with the relationship aspect of social media. In 2009, after asking herself what Billy would do, she decided to add to her B.Admin and go back to school to obtain her Social Media Award of Achievement from UBC.
Crystal now specializes in marketing, digital, and social strategy. Her focus is spent on how to maximize the marketing potential for brands in today’s digital world.
